about the race

The Cobb County Kia Lutzie 43 Road Race and a 5K race and one mile kids’ fun run with the start and finish at Lassiter High School in Marietta, Georgia. The race honors the memory of Lassiter and Auburn great, Philip Lutzenkirchen and is powered by the East Cobb chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. All proceeds benefit the Lutzie 43 Foundation and the East Cobb FCA.

Packet Pick-Up locations, dates and times will be announced soon. Packets will be available for pick up a few days prior to the race as well as the morning of race day.

The race will start and end on Lutzie Field at Lassiter High School. The start line will open at 7:30 a.m. and participants will participate in a warm up and receive pre-race information.

awards

Awards will be given to the top male and female runners in an overall, masters, grand masters and age group categories. We will have bounce houses for the kids and plenty of food, fluid and fun for all the runners and their families.
